Help our BROOKSIDE PTA programs thrive and better serve our students by volunteering. We are always in need of willing hands to assist in a variety of events, enrichment programs, after-school activities, and other important roles!

Holiday Teen Gift & Food Drive Volunteers:

  • Help sort food/teen gifts during the drive - Volunteers are needed for approximately one hour each morning 11/27-12/6 at Brookside to help sort food/gifts donated by Brookside families.   • Truck/Car Drivers & Loaders - Help transport food/gifts to Kellogg the afternoon of December 16th. Loaders needed to help put the food in the trucks. To help go to Signup.com@ http://signup.com/login/entry/9534317720110

  • Help Friday December 8th or Saturday December 9th at Kellogg - Sort food/gift donations, box up food for distribution, be a gift shopper guide, or help haul food out to recipients cars. Ways & Means Volunteer Needs:

  • Graphics/Web Designer – Work with the auction chairs to design the “look” of the auction in marketing materials, website, signage, etc. Sept-Oct and Jan-March.
  • Gift Basket Coordinator – Create beautiful and fun basket combinations from various procured auction items. Jan-March.
  • Class Art Project Coordinator - Work with students and teachers to create unique classroom art projects to sell as auction items. This is a joint-position, with one open slot. Jan-March.
  • Auction Item Coordinator – Ensure silent and live auction items are promoted and displayed well, including great item descriptions and layout. Jan-March + day before/of the auction.
  • Auction Check-in/Out Coordinator – Lead volunteers in process of guest check-in/out. Late March & night of the auction.
  • Annual Campaign Coordinator – Help create and distribute messaging for the annual appeal, track donations, and write acknowledgment letters. Oct-Dec with flexibility for either at-home or at-school support
