An Evening in Havana

The Brookside PTA invites staff, families, and friends to a fun night out to support our school. The auction is an adult-only event and our school’s primary fundraiser of the year. Tickets for the auction are purchased in advance and include dinner and drink tickets. The event is a great opportunity for you to socialize with other parents and staff while also raising money to benefit our students’ education.

The night will consist of both a silent auction to bid on items that include gift certificates to restaurants, sporting event tickets, handmade items, unique experiences for children, and fun outings for everyone. There will also be a live auction to bid on larger items such as vacation getaways, unique experiences, classroom projects, and experiences with teachers and staff - whether you participate in the live bidding or not, it is highly entertaining to watch!

This year we are also offering two exciting and fun Sections

There are four VIP tables available in the venue. Two of these tables will be front and center (Heads), and two of the tables will be “Godfather" spots in the back (Tails).

Heads Tables - You will enjoy exclusive perks including swag bags available upon your arrival, bottle service table side, and nobody blocking your view when you throw up your hands to clinch that perfect auction item….

Tails Tables - The VIP tables at the back include similar perks to the tables in front except you get closer proximity to the bar and are able to hang with your posse distraction free….

Ways to help with the auction!

Procure items! We are looking for desirable, unique, and high quality donations of all sizes and are asking EVERYONE to think through their entire network of family, friends, and colleagues – anyone you know that might have access to popular and/or creative auction items. Don’t be afraid to solicit beyond local businesses! Procurement forms and Sponsor forms are available in the main office or can be downloaded here: Procurement form and Sponsorship form. The deadline for donations is March 1, 2017.

Volunteer! Help is needed in every capacity: decorations, procurement, classroom projects (these are usually huge sellers at the event), event set-up, and more.
