Musical Registration Deadline has been Extended!
This was a hard month getting the word out about this year’s 3rd-6th Grade Musical because of the inclement weather and snow days. The PTA has decided to extend the registration deadline to end of the school day this Friday, March 1st.   The Musical Parent Information Meeting is still on for tonight at 7pm in the Cafeteria. If you’d like to register in person, you may do so between 6:30-6:55 pm. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Because of the forecast this Friday & Saturday, Brookside Administration and the Brookside PTA Board has decided to cancel this weekend’s Talent Show event on February 9th. Congratulations to Brookside for their green team efforts! The school was awarded a proclamation from the City of Lake Forest Park for being a school committed to reducing their carbon footprint by being a Level 1 King County Green School by recycling and composting at lunch, marker recycling and paper recycling in the classrooms.  Brookside PTA’s Winter 2019 Student Enrichment Programs Here are some things to know before you sign up: Volunteers : All PTA enrichment programs require a parent to be present as a volunteer. A background check form must be filled out each year. If one parent is able to be the volunteer for all sessions, then the price for their child is usually free (or a significant discount is offered). Contact the instructor for more information.
